With over 25 years of performance experience across diverse musical genres - including jazz, gospel, concert orchestral, R&B, and blues, I have collaborated with worship teams, vocalists, choirs, and individual artists in Indianapolis, IN and throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. As an experienced worship team drummer, I excel at interpreting musical scores, chord charts, and videos, as well as performing by ear. I strive to enhance the rhythm and feel of every musical project through thoughtful, adaptive percussion accompaniment.
I have mastered acoustic drum sets, electronic drum sets, concert snare drum, hand percussion instruments, and Studio One digital audio workstation (DAW) software. I am experienced instructing, mentoring, and coaching emerging musicians to support their professional development, and I am known for delivering constructive feedback with professionalism and sensitivity. I have extensive expertise in drum maintenance, tuning, equipment repair, and all technical aspects required to deliver excellent live and recorded drum and percussion accompaniment.
